Warehouse Operative

Working hours:

Working hours expected 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday – Ensuring goods have been dispatched

Education/Experience Required:

Experience of working as part of a team, must have the ability to problem solve. Liaise with other parts of the business in a timely and professional Manner.

Good IT, including good knowledge of Word, Outlook and Excel.

Flexible approach to work, and must pay attention to detail.



Certificates/Licenses Required:

Fork Lift operating and driving license.



Primary Responsibilities

To have a flexible approach to the working day, starting early or finishing late to help the business meet its daily objectives

To work as part of a fast pace team, to receipt stock and dispatch customer orders in a timely and organized manner.

Flexible and willing attitude, with the ability to provide general support as and when required.

Must have a polite and courteous manner regardless of the situation or workload.

Attention to detail, maintaining accuracy of all dispatches ensuring our high level of customer satisfaction

Booking despatches on various transport pallet and parcel networks and printing out relevant paperwork.

Forward planning of orders/stock for the forthcoming weeks orders.

Help maintain an accurate inventory of stock and performing monthly physical stock counts.

Assist with processing of outworkers, stock in and out of the business, including QC checking of received work, and planning of future work to coincide with the business requirements.

QC inward stock from suppliers, record all findings and report any discrepancies to your line manager helping to maintain the high level of quality that our customers recognise Adventa for.


To have an enthusiasm for your role within the business and recognition that customers are the main priority, at all times.

Must have the ability to understand and deal effectively with any issues, and bring them to a manager’s attention as soon as possible with a proposed resolution.

Some Product assembly including re-working of stock will be required from time-to-time, which will need carrying out in a timely manner.

Be willing to fulfill other roles within the business as required, loading/unloading containers, work on other various small machines to help meet deadlines.

Be mindful of the Adventa Health and Safety policy, ensuring and maintaining a safe working environment at all times
