Current Positions:

Injection Moulding Production Team Leader – Full time 

In the role the applicant will oversee the set-up, the efficient running of moulds, moulding machines and ancillary equipment to meet the quality standards and production targets, as well as supporting the introduction of new or modified processes. The roll will at times require a hands-on approach.

As the Injection Moulding Production Team Leader, you will have a minimum 5 years’ experience of setting, conditioning, optimisation and maintenance of injection moulding machines.

You will ideally have experience of systematic fault finding, hot runner systems, ancillaries, robots and multi-cavity tools. Experience of working to ISO 9001 standards will be an advantage.

As Team Leader, duties will also include, production planning and scheduling, making sure all Health and Safety Procedures are adhered to, Quality Control is maintained along with an active role in waste minimization and down time through procedure improvements.

The role will also require the applicant to oversee any in house training needed by members of the production team to help with staff progression and improvements.

The successful candidate will ideally have an Injection Moulding Technology – Part 2 and Part 3 Certificate or equivalent experience. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Requirements / Experience / Qualifications / Knowledge for the role:

Knowledge of plastic polymers

Knowledge of multiple injection moulding materials

Injection Mould Machine setting and optimisation

Implementation of a machine maintenance programme

Programme of ancillaries equipment such as robots

Production planning

Quality control in line with our ISO9001 policy

Problem solving attitude

Clean and efficient work manner

Ability to work alongside others as part of a strong team

Be pro-active and enthusiastic in your approach

Basic IT skills

Strong ‘Can do’ attitude

Willing to learn with a flexible work outlook

Understanding of production environment
