With the focus of the environment and climate change in the news we understand it is our corporate responsibility to put measures in place to help reduce our negative impact.
There are 3 key areas we have focused on:
Products and Packaging
- Striving to reduce the volume of waste per completed product. For example, our retail packed bauble has gone from 36 pieces of plastic to none in the space of one year! To do this we are currently researching ways of using alternative types of protective packaging and endeavour to use FSC certified card and paper wherever possible. Adventa to Double in Size
2016 will see Adventa complete its brand new state of the art warehouse. Due to increasing sales and demand from customers Adventa is building a brand new warehouse onsite, doubling its storage capacity and significantly increasing the production area.
The new 10,000 square foot warehouse, based in Newtown, Powys, will provide 800 approx. new pallet locations for Adventa stock. A key priority for us here at Adventa is to provide a frictionless service for our valued customers, this new space means we will be be able to improve lead times and offer a faster, reliable and flexible service. Adventa are thrilled to be trialling their new and exciting brand My Moments at Chester Zoo, one of the countrys largest zoos at 125 acres. The park is is the most visited zoo in the country with over 21,000 animals.
My Moments was launched last week, cited in their gift shop, just ahead of the busy May Bank Holiday which thousands of vistiors accross.
